I'm certainly not trying to sell anyone on Western Express, but salary is salary. I'm sure they will work you half to death to get that salary, but money is money.

I had a good DM when I was there. The problem is when she was off for the weekend and someone else covered her fleet that’s when things usually went to heck in a hand basket, especially when home time was coming up they liked to jerk around and try to send me in the opposite direction.

His info was about right. His case by case deal is true. I’ve been paid for dentention etc everytime. They gave me a new tractor I’ve yet to have a breakdown. Flats are handled by Goodyear and seem to be fixed in about 90 minutes in my experience.

I’m not a second chance guy, but still I’m there and I like it. Yes no cameras also they leave you alone which I really like. Weekend DM’s don’t do a lot for ya.

Anyway good miles. Pays on time. They leave you alone, and trainees get paid $700 per week. I also heard there’s raises coming down the pipeline.

Not clicking on click bait. But any company claiming 100% D+H is lying.

When I was there I’d say about 70% of the loads were drop and hook. If the loads were going to grocery warehouses some were live load/unload.

Closer to 85-90% for me. The live loads / unloads are normally 2 hours or under though. I don’t do a whole lot of grocery. The lanes I run regularly are for big retailers so it’s preloaded trailers, a day longer than I need to get there and big ‘ol yards that seem like NFL stadiums. The backhauls are predominately lumber or rolls of paper and all bets are off on those.
