Stuck with no crank no start issue on my 2015 Volvo 780 with D13. Can’t say what the issue. How do I bypass celinoid to get starter to cranc?
-
You can do it directly on starter solonoid but the acces is pretty bad.
-
Yes, but which contacts to close in circuit? Thanks!

There is a starter relay bolted on the side of there starter itself. There is 4 wires on this relay jump the two big one together. Make sure your transmission is neutral before.
-
In this circumstances, first option i try is crawl under the truck and hammer the starter quickly but gently, while have somebody turn the ignition on, make sure the brakes are applied and transmission in neutral and batteries charged; it worked many times especially in cold weather.

Guys. Thank you all for your help. Ended up replacing a starter outside the pilot. Started right up. Hopefully I can put this issue to bed.

On my 07 it’s two one on the fire wall and one by the starter

Beginning on 2008 the engine Ecu is controling the ground of the stater relay. Then no more relay on the firewall.
