Have you boys noticed the lack of quality brokers on Dat. I'm seeing new names, or different and a lot of low credit and days way over 30? We just got done playing "well its 43k and legal. Ok what are the dimensions? "Its 43k and legal". Ok good bye. Good news customer called. Bad news is I am always hooked to the wrong trailer. Some day I'm gonna just have one trailer and a smaller tool box. Goals you have to have them

 

Yes intra, Arkansas doesnt require dot for it but tags here are broken down differently. For instance a semi tagged for 80k has a K tag meaning K98345. A truck tagged for farm use is an F tag.

F tags are way cheaper than K tags for one thing but F tags are meant for only farm use meaning to and from the farm as I understand it so they are not operating legally when hauling for someone that isnt the farm (ie. Contracted to a poultry plant). Running farm tags in Arkansas has major perks like no hos no inspection requirement no alcohol or drug testing among some other things.

The guys a prick but personal feelings aside I feel that knowing hes skirting around the strict rules we have to follow makes a fella a little warm around the collar

 

Arkansas turns a blind eye to running farm tags for hire as long as you are hauling farm products. It also exempts the truck from many things during an inspection to the point they wont do one. They do require the driver to meet all qualifications as far as CDL and health card if for hire. No drug testing program. That's really all I want to say out in the open because i don't want to start a debate

Another thing is Arkansas allows you 85k on state and US highways if coming off the farm they allow you 85k. If you got a scale ticket showing that don't flash it. 86 and 87 may get you a warning but nothing exciting. Around 90 they may slap your hands
