Latest project. The ranch bought this thing from the classifieds. Now they're paying me to restore it. It would be cheaper to just go get a new one but the checks cash when I deposit them, so restoration is what the plan is.

I read a more in depth article about it. The scope is very narrow, the areas of operation are limited, has to go 5 yrs and 500k without incident. The level 4 is still a decade out probably from release and still lots of complex issues to figure out. No urban areas, no rural areas, mainly all interstate hub to hub.

I cross the Bay Bridge twice a day every day. The trick with that one is not to glance over at the other span. That will mess with your head pretty quickly.

Its ok @wore out we didn't haul cattle so dad didnt want me to hit anything. Now in high school I worked at a slaughter house, then went to work for the trucking co. that owned it. Had to wash them, work on them and weld on them. Then worked for tow company. Had a head on wreck with a load of pigs, hit a door slammer loaded with drywall mud. The SO and OTP was running around shooting pigs. I am not that confident if they ever need to protect me. I respect you guys for doing it. But I have never heard a dollar figure discussed that would make me wanna pull one. Yet.
