I'm in Phoenix getting PM work done on both trucks, not snowing.

Well, THAT was anti-climactic... Left SFO airport at noon Mountain Time, zipped over Donner (not a speck of snow on the road anywhere), dodged one cidiot accident (rear ended a semi truck..... here's your sign...), and was putting fish in the troughs by 0:30 AM in Grace, ID. 876 mile day --- HOS exempt has it's advantages. Temps ranged from 61 in SFO to 1 at the farm...... LOL.

One reefer in the ditch between Hollister and Jackpot on 93, for no dam reason at all. Just drove off the road into the ditch. Some days......

Wish that was the case. He was told trucks were at max chains. I did explain what that meant.

I wish I had time to take a picture. The other day going accros 80 in WY weather reports were predicting bad snow on 80 with areas just to the south in the clear. I saw a driver that I'm just guessing must have seen the weather report and couldn't wait until he hit 25 to turn south so he got off 80 then headed and I mean due south right smack though the field ran straight though the fence and made it about 100 yards before getting stuck. No idea where he thought was going because there's nothing but field out there for several miles. All I could do was think of this thread "oh no god I got to get off 80 right NOW". See this is why I need a dash cam some of the stuff you see......

I saw a Werner truck doing that on Donner once. Thought it was a trucker tale for years but I've seen it with my own eyes. The dash in those trucks must be in pieces by the end of the day.
