My engine was as clean as any and he saw it. It’s a company truck with limited BB charge privileges. Basic Tractor Wash and Basic Reefer Washout only And he knows this, too

Now I would pay a little extra (no reimbursement) for a full and complete rinse but strangely that’s the one thing they don’t offer. I guess they prefer to sell the hand dry.

No waiting at the Beacon this morning. Arrived 0600, I'm in the extras bay 0620.

Met a fellow TTR member. We were discussing the benefits of getting to this Beacon early when they threw us out.

    Long live The Beacon!!!!!

I just hit a private wash that sits behind the Petro just north of Birmingham off I59. The place is old and outside with just a tin roof for cover. Most expensive wash I've ever had but she shines.

I feel like the Little Sisters in Barstow is similarly overhyped to Dannys. Sure they do a good job but no better than a solid Blue Beacon and I still end up hand drying half the truck myself. The polish crew does a good job though and reasonable, pending your wheels aren’t pitted to the point of needing sanding

The thing with BB is no matter how sloppy they were I’ve only had 1 location get huffy when I asked them to rewash areas (Fernley, NV), same can’t be said for probably 3/4s of the 1 off washes I’ve used. My favorite used to be the Rochelle IL location, manager was a Spanish guy with a polishing business on the side and he made darn sure the crew took pride in their work
