When I was 24 I wore 30w, 36l jeans and weighed about 185-190. At one point, when I had to buy 38w jeans the reality hit me that I have to do something. I can probably get back into 30's now without much trouble but somewhere I lost some leg length even though I'm still 6-1. Not sure how that happened but 36l is just a little long (or maybe they always have been but I used to wear cowboy boots)Slowpoke KW, BigBob410, Oxbow and 17 others Thank this.

Its cool what you can do with some money, time and skill. For some reason I just can't get used to seeing a car roll coal.Slowpoke KW, BigBob410, Oxbow and 15 others Thank this.

Loud airplanes like T-6 or Beech 18's with Volpar 10200 mods, T-6's are louder than P51's in the ####pit. The A-26 is more prop noise than exhaust. The baby Barron with hair dryers not as bad. Never flew a Starship, there were several at Van Nuys that were obnoxious and, it has been decades since I was near a 172RG?

I have a friend that did some cars for Pimp My Ride, one of them was a 66 Impala with a Duramax in it, The Governator even came out and made comments. It ran on Bio-diesel of course!

I've only been in a T6 once, I was 9 and it was at a fly-in in Johnson City, KS so don't remember the sound. Have never been in a 51 though I do plan to treat myself to an hour of dual at Stallion 51 in the next year. Have only seen 18s.
I did pilot service for a gentleman there in ICT with the 56tc, was plenty fast but, at least to me, it was just too loud. He bought a King Air 90F (T Tail and 4 blade props) and hired a full time pilot so I never got typed in it or got any more than 1 hour in the right seat bringing it home. His new pilot couldn't fly the 56 and I couldn't fly the 90 so we ran team to trade in the 56 and get the 90 home.
As for the Starship, we were out doing a checkout in a C-II SP in the west practice area. Todd from Raytheon was out with Bill Glassons Starship on a test flight also in the west practice area and we could hear him from inside the Citation. I got to fly as safety pilot with Glasson a few times (his insurance wouldn't let him fly without a safety pilot because he was a professional athlete), was a very fun, forgiving plane to fly but burned a lot of fuel and couldn't go fast enough to get out of its own way.BigBob410, Crusader66, Feedman and 11 others Thank this. -
