I've never had an issue getting detention pay. I've been averaging 3,000 to 3,200 miles every week. For detention the key is dont be late and follow the instructions exactly as they send it to you over the PC

But for short hauls they can be good money sometimes. I have made 200 bucks just from doing a load that only takes an hour or so to do. They do from my experience usually make a short load worth you while. I have been given say a 50 mile load because someone was going home and than gotten a 1700 mile load afterwards. It really is pays to never complain about your loads here like a lot of people seem to do

The new trucks all have EPUs and inverters installed. I have a fridge and microwave in mine and have no problems. Most of Roehls freight for Dryvan is Midwest and Eastcoast. My flatbed friends run the west coast and coast to coast all the time. Besides the I5 dedicated and Tristate regional account the flatbed division is one of the few that is truly national. The reefer division is fairly small so you will see a lot of Nestle and Kraft
