Looks like a nice start to your home. Is that a garage on the back? Or the man cave? The rectangle to the side? Is that a storm room (where you go for tornados)

 

That'll be my front porch. It's 8 by 20 foot. and that part will be totally sealed off. It should have a concrete floor so it'll be almost maintenance free.

 

I’d put a door on back side for lawn mower, Otherwise a great place for builders to throw scraps before laying concrete slab on it. Lol always happens

 

But then I’d need a hole through the wall.

 

Not telling us about the hidden door eh? So you can hide the bodies

 

It wouldnt take much to turn that into a storm cellar. It would be an excellent spot for a mechanical room. Maybe $400 to put a door in. Build a fake floor 6 inches below the top of that wall, caulk the edges. Set pieces of rebar every 8" with a lenth of 16". The rebar wants to go through the block. They will probably fill the block anyways (or at least they should). Then they can pour the slab. Take the staging out from under the form. Presuming you dont put a release agent to the plywood, the wood will stay on the underside giving you attach points for ceiling tiles or what ever. Real simple to do now, add to the value of the home.
