Oh. It wasnt nothin fancy. Just a piece of rusty looking 5" exhaust pipe. The guard came off and it went into a scrap pile.

That is the way to do it. Have a few of those. Tip on that sensor if the rubber starts to swell or leak oil. Change it before it fails. It will derate engine and make it appear to have low oil psi. The actual oil psi will be fine. But the ecm will think it has low oil psi. If your gonna replace it just cut the wires of first. Had made wrenches for the Air compressor. Finally bought a nice one from snap on. Pointless, had to take that new shinny wrench and grind about 1/4" off it. Shouldn't have bought it looking back.

Gonna be relocating to the shop here directly......

Mama needs to work on the barge and I'm in charge of supervising the cold beverage inventory.

We were talking about Snap on in the other thread. I’m not a mechanic but I’m a decent parts changer, I finally have a garage so I’m accumulating a few tools. Last year I bought a nice set of Expert impact sockets off the Mac man, $90 for a set of deep and shallow from 3/8 to 1”. The Snap on man was at the shop Thursday and since I can’t stand him I asked one of our mechanics in front of him when Mac was coming. He tells me he has anything Mac has and I told him I wanted some metric impact sockets. He said he had a heck of a deal come on. So I get on the truck and he shows me a nice set of sockets in a nice case on sale 50% off so only $459!
