There was a service truck working on it a while ago? Must have gone for parts? -
How many of us trucked under those rules? It would kill some of these guys to have to recap.1951 ford, peterbilt_2005, Zeviander and 22 others Thank this.

By recap you mean mathematically doing it yourself?

Dinner was at 530, not 535. If your late food is in the fridge. Mom ran a tight ship. You could go back out after. But when she yelled you came straight home. Guess that wouldnt work in the city.1951 ford, peterbilt_2005, blairandgretchen and 20 others Thank this. -
Yep used to be on the right margin of your log page. You kept track of how many hours you worked every day, your 8th day fell off and you tallied how many hours you had available that day. No 34 hour restart, 8 off 15 on 10 driving and you could stop your clock anytime.

Hmmmmm,
Did the 70 still exist? Was it a 10 hour break to regain the 15/10? -
Yep 70 was there, if you hit your 70 you had to wait to get hours back and it was an 8 hour break not 10. Depending on how hard you ran it could take a bit. I can remember having 3 hours available and stuff like that. Of course you just grabbed the other log book and went on.
