I was coming through Mississippi yesterday. I thought of you @TripleSix . There was some wildebeest talking #### on the radio. Saying to some other driver to pull over and her “old man” would whoop his ###. I couldn’t help but to key up and inform her that she didn’t have a man. “I do too, and he’ll whoop your ### too”. No you don’t. Cause a real man wouldn’t ride around with a loudmouth #### talking #### like you.

It’s funny, this morning I was reading an article about The Rock was talking about snowflakes dragging us backwards because they are offended by everything and in the comments section there were a bunch of them offended by it. Priceless.

Those are the guys coming into the industry. Don’t want to do anything, but want to be paid for everything. Log everything OnDuty so they won’t have any drive time because they don’t want to drive. But then, they complain about the pay. Morons.

I was reading in the heavy haul forum about the guy that was trying to spec a heavy haul truck for beancounter fuel economy. Complete with skirts. Now he was talking like he pulled OSOW before, but why didn’t he know that the name of the game is performance? If you pull any load on an rgn with any amount of weight, your fuel economy is going to suck. 80000 lbs on a flat vs 80000 on an rgn, the flat will get better fuel economy.

    Performance vs fuel economy.

“Hey Six, can you load that piece of equipment and take it 1000 miles on asphalt and 40 miles up a dirt road up a 9 percent grade and drop it off on the top of the hill?”

If you’re worried about fuel economy, you’re thinking about that thousand miles of asphalt. If you’re worried about performance, you will be more concerned about that off-road trek. Anything happens on the asphalt, no big deal. Anything happens in the bush and you’re part of the food chain. If you’ve ever pulled OSOW, you had to play in the mud. When you look for a truck, you spec it for pulling heavy loads through the mud. Period.

Painful. Your truth was just plain painful. I’m still reeling from the effects of pain.
