homeyet978, I was like you I looked into several companies before Prime . I was also looking at going to a trucking school, but after talking to a Prime recruiter, I made my mind up to go to Prime. I enjoyed reading the tips from u2exit and others on here. It really does help.

You've been a great help aswell
I wonder how hard will it be for me to find a non-smoker trainer? I don't mind having a driver that smokes but I hate the smell of smoke blah! thats one of the reasons why i quit
So if i get my CDL Permit that is like one less thing I got to worry about it while in training...? -
Looking forward to getting started! Thanks for the great threads about Prime. -

what would be best ? If a person got there CDL permit in there own state or at Springfeild Missouri . And some one told me that you need a hard copy of your permit if you get it from your own state. What do the mean about that..

Is the BMI a big thing at the physical ?
-
BMI is part of the physical now, from what I have been told... take your height and weight and compare it to a BMI chart to get the index number.
The question is how strict are they going to be on this. Been told its for all new hires and that current employees are "grandfathered" and dont have to re-submit to the new standard.
"Hard Copy" of your permit is a hard card like a liscense... not a piece of paper.. has to be like an ID/laminted drivers liscense when issued... -
U2EXIT,
I have a few of questions: How do you input here; notebook w/aircard, Blackberry, or are there Truckstops out there with computers to rent? And what is an APU? Do you know how many drivers Prime has in the Northwest? I know a guy from New York that Prime wouldn't hire, because its slow there or what? I'll be in Springfield on the 24th
I'll probably run into you one of these days if I make the cut. Thanks for all your good work here. Appreciate it.
