If you want to watch it happen under controlled conditions
I asked that all our liquid drivers sit through this 4:12 youtube demo before being allowed to hook onto a tank as part of the "liquid orientation". Our safety officer was surprised that it had been done. I spent 3 years as senior liquid driver/special liquids transporter for our 75 truck bulk carrier up here in Saskatchewan, Canada after selling my truck.NightWind, peterbilt_2005, Feedman and 22 others Thank this. -
@TripleSix, sorry didn't take your advise. I had to comment in the other thread. It will be the one and only time.

Lost, I'm irritated. Joker city with broker freight. But changed a main breaker at a rental, serviced the furnace, got the snow off of truck and switched trailers. So back at it in am. F-them.Feedman, blairandgretchen, Oxbow and 15 others Thank this.

As long as no one gets banned, I’m cool. This sort of thing happened when that richter character honked TMC’s bobo and swore up and down that his direct drive 264 was the cats meow. And then the Kim Kardashian of heavyhaul had a hissy and got Nate banned. I liked Nate!
This guy asked about ‘heavyhaul’, but then he’s talking MILES. He’s trying to figure out how to pull heavier loads cheaper. I lost a wheel seal on my steers way out in the middle of nowhere once...a wheel seal! It costs $2800! Dude!!!!! That stuff hurts! If you’re hauling big loads, you’re going to break stuff. You’d better charge accordingly.
One day, some goon will show up, wanting to transform an MVT truck with its single screw and dummy axle, into a “heavyhauler”. Put supersingles on it and a 10 speed, and put a big trailer behind it and brag to everyone about your fuel economy.
I ran into a DSV driver (Sammons) and he was telling me how he used to run Alaska for $40k (Big hood T800 4axle with a 3&1 rgn), but now those loads are getting taken for $10k. $10000 for 7500 miles ( they bounce back to Seattle)? In an 8 axle? They’re just in the business long enough to keep freight rates low.Last edited: Jan 14, 2019

Shooter, I have a ton of respect for you dealing with this, doing the work yourself, and keeping your chin up throughout.
My hat's off to you, and I hope she's going to purr for a long time now.Feedman, blairandgretchen, Zeviander and 26 others Thank this.
