IH 9900 Detroit 60 Stalling out

    my cruise and jake brake haven't really worked for awhile as much as i'd like them to it will work 1 time and not the next

    Well now that you say this, reminds me of an experience. On a pete with an Isx, the fuel shutoff solenoid went to reading off, the jakes and cruise went out, then the fan became unresponsive. After troubleshooting that one for a while, it was the Ecm.

    But, the throttle position sensor? That could maybe explain the jakes, cruise, and stall out. Since the pedal would disrupt the signal to the jakes and cruise and if was temporarily unresponsive, could maybe stall the truck. IF the stall out isn’t low ECM voltage or ECM internals related.

    bit of an update

    Its still not working properly I've replaced the throttle position sensor and checked more wiring it all seems fine, I stopped by a truck shop and had them read codes and the only thing that came up was low coolant level but I've never had that cut the engine out like mine is doing, just the lights till I fill the reservoir up tot he glass is full and fine is right full,

    I got it it my heated shop so i'll take any suggestions, a lot of my connections have dielectric grease in them so they are not corroded even the 2 fuses in the battery box have the grease on them.
