I asked a pretty basic question: where does $35-38k come from.
That number , from what the SCH C allows, was provided above.
That means for line 24, the remainder for travel is also about 19k.
That's $52 per night for 365 nights, that you actually have to spend to write it off.
I find that super impressive.
Some numbers for new O/O

Do you mind sharing what company was this? I am interested in learning more from people who are actually making decent money in trucking esp. if you can do it under someone else's authority..If you can't share then I understand too...thanks -
All, I'm a perspective "HotShot" O/O,
So are those numbers fairly close to what a Hotshot would make too and things to consider? Also, if I'm considering filing bankruptcy, how long would it take to recover to get into the trucking business or just sit out and wait until I get my finances back on track.
Folks have bra beat me down for wanting to get my O/O authority with over 70K in consumer debt besides my truck/trailer which are separate. (65K/15K) respectively. I want to move forward, but don't know if it's a wise decision at this point, esp. from everything I have read and researched. I wanna be debt free before getting in, but I also want to go for the gusto!! Any advice/recommendation. I know some of those who see this have seen my other post and will probably bra beat me a little more, but I'm searching for all the real answers possible.Jman369 Thanks this. -
