I for one will be wide-eyed and attentive in the school. Just because I have ten years doesn't mean I know it all, and of course, we didn't have ABS braking, Qualcomm, cellphones, wifi, the new log rulings, prepass, and a host of other things.
I guess I AM a noob, now. At least I can handle the trucks. And any tranny's, hills, weather, and ignorant dock people. So I got one leg up.
Probably the extremely slow trucks will be the biggest beef I wind up with. -
Takes awhile, but you get used to them.
It only sucks when you need to make time. Or you get behind another company truck governed at 62 mph on some back### country road. -
Well...I guess not if you're DRIVING a 62 mph truck...
-
You shouldn't have a problem at all Red Fox. Only things that have really changed are the technology. You'll probably be one of the few out there without a GPS in your suitcase before you get your own truck!

Thanx. Yeah, I can't AFFORD one right now! I'm pulling TEETH to get the local school tuition up so I can save $2400 on it, but may just have to do their funding anyway, since I can't let the house bills get behind again.
Doesn't help that there are no jobs here and everyone wants me to do professional work for them for peanuts or not at all. -
