Guess I need to give up my dream of getting my CDL

I may have missed it, but is there any chance you can get a small loan? I know Schneider would have reimburse just about any accredited school I went to back when I was looking at companies and schools. Even if they don't reimburse you, you could make payments on the loan once you get hired on.

 

Oh I missed that you are living at home...man just get your license with the auto restriction and when your year is up, rent/borrow a truck to redo the road test with the manual tranny. You only have to do the road portion to get the auto restriction lifted.

Seems like the biggest hurdle here is your own negative attitude

 

Dreams are horrible things to have. You definitely should give up on them.
