Hey everyone. I'm thinking of joining Mercer this coming spring, but I'm have a difficult time figuring out what my startup costs will be. I currently haul containers and do not have any chains, straps, headache rack, tarps, or anything at all. A recruiter told me they would want 50% down payment for stuff I buy through them, which I understand could also include a headache rack. Does anyone know what I should be finacially ready for? I have priced headache racks locally for $1,500-2,000 which is a basic rack, plus the middle compartment. Add any and all equipment to haul what ever, I know i'm probably looking near $4,000 if I bought everything new on my own. Does anyone have any input on what Mercer can do to ease this outfitting process? Thanks,
Mercer, Whats to be expected for startup cost of equipment?

50% of $2,000 or 4,000 or 6,000? not sure exactly what I need to buy, they didnt have a list that I've seen. Just trying to know what I'll be spending.

Hmm, didn’t see anything about the special Koolaide.

HAHA, I dont know where that was, but Thank you. Those requirements dont seem so bad, I was quoting every possible thing I could think of I guess. The tarps are what costs an arm and a leg, I was hoping to avoid buying and using tarps.
