If you are going to pull a flat, you’re going to need them. Steps not as much.

When I bought my tarps, they cost me $250 per tarp. My tarp rate is $250 per tarp. If they are willing to pay my rate, I am willing to tarp. I will even smile and hum a tune.

Make sure that, when you are figuring out your numbers, to get value for your time.

    Luck in battle.

I pull a flat with them. Call recruiting and they will email you a price list of everything they sell. In addition to what I see required your going to want to buy enough felt padding to cover an entire load, a couple 4" ratchet straps.

If you plan on not tarping ever I would plan on not doing flatbed here. Pull a van.

Yep, I plan on buying a step deck, I live near the ports amd know wide loads, equipment, vehicles, and high cube containers will likely be in my future, so step deck is almost a must for where I live, at least thats how I feel about it.

$3400 or a little better for the bare minimum. That's everything through Mercer. You have some options as far as tarps, binders, and such. They will loan you 50% but that only goes so far, so don't plan on buying $8k of equipment with a $4k loan.

Choose your tarp sizes wisely. Get some felt and some ratchet straps, and at least a couple ratchet binders.

You'ld be right. I actually financed my truck through my uncle. I'm the poor Keffer boy though. My dad was Eric Keffer is you knew him, he passed away in 2010. He quite Crossroads and got his own truck, and of course, I followed.

I met him several times, I'm Ken Miller's brother. I went to school with 2 of your uncles, Alan and Dale.
