Installed Home Depot floor in my 379

Took 2 hour to gut and clean the truck,
Took 1 hour to put that dyno mat down (you don’t need that stuff, I had a big roll left over from years ago so I used it)
Took 1 hour to put the harbor freight pad down.
Took probably 6 hours to do floor.

Someone else with more skills could probably do it faster. I only had experience from doing my house.

The biggest pain was getting started have to notch and cut the first row in the back of truck cab for the seat belts, and seat holes. Not hard but once you get past that stuff it’s smooth sailing. To get the bolt holes exact, I would just lay the next plank on the bolts sticking up as if I was gonna lay the plank. Put my finger underneath the plank where the bolt was, then put a mark with a sharpy and use a hole saw.

 

I wander if that comes with raneys employees to install it and then you have to put them back in a box to send back when they are done. Haha

 

Any type of dyna mat but I don’t think you really need it but I’m sure it would quiet things down a lot over the road. I’m a local hauler with 8” straight pipes. I had dyna mat left over. Anti fatigue mat should be good enough to deaden the sound. But here is my list of materials and all you will need.
I have day cab. Measure lenght x width to get square footage for your truck if you have sleeper. My truck was close to 24 sq ft.
