Currently local, thinking about going OTR. Thoughts?

The free health insurance is a good deal too. Then again you can always buy it. Remember at first youll be making basically minimum wage for the hours you put in OTR.

 

Knoxville Old Dominion just built a terminal behind the Petro. All New equipment. Drivers got It made. Good area for Work. Cost of living good also. Do it while your young.

 

I live in SW PA. Got 3.5 years left and we are out of here. The Northeast has some great scenery, even farther north, but the stupidiot, ignorance and corruption is more than I care to deal with anymore.

We have family out in Quakertown. That’s as Far East as we go lol.

 

TN, no income tax except for certain investment income.

 

No state tax here in TN

Find an address and go. That’s actually the easy part. Transferring your CDL will be too.
