Triple Eight Transport

Anyone know whats going on with Triple 8? They seem to have exploded all over the place in Alberta/Mid West/PACNW/ California/Nevada/Arizona. Lots of new trucks and Trailers, lots of O/O's.

Just seen this today, does not seem like the Triple 8 that I was exposed to last year; new Management? Bought Out?

You don't want to know how they expand so rapidly, like RIG or peoples express. It's a nasty and dirty secret, that they keep to themselves.

 

What? constant influx of student visa drivers, changing to open visa drivers, then not paying them and threatening to deport them if they complain lol.

 

They go back to the old country, and offer jobs with the benefit of a garunteed Visa. All they have to do is front 40k which is easy money apparently to them in the old country. They take that 40k use is to finance equipment, and keep the drivers long enough to get a work Visa or the like. Then they are free. They use the 40k to expand. They go and do this looking for 8-10 people a time.

I got this from one of the Executives of RIG. That's how they expand so fast.

 

Yep, makes sense. Syndicate is another one that just exploded, now are imploding lol. Also money laundering, from Opium sales.

 

Aggressive has a weak benefits package - they give you $2500.00 a year towards a benefits package you have to find yourself - most cost $5,000 - 6,000 per year for a full benefits package.

 

Triple 8 is owned by the brother of the owner of Mitrux. Their yards are right next to each other in Abbotsford BC. A sub company of Mitrux called Ameri-Can Freight Systems uses the same yard and office as Mitrux. No dispatcher at either of the companies speaks legible English. Same goes for the entire office staff at both places. Avoid unless your from India.
