Yep, Darwins will all rush out to the roads, and lots of crashes and people killed and the news media will be eating it up and bunches of silly people will have things to post on facebook. Stay put. Allow everyone who is going to die to go ahead and die. And tomorrow, everything will be calmer.

And I ain't gots the mindset. I also don't pull a reefer. I ain't gots the mindset. I'm pretty simple. Pour it in top. Drop it out the bottom. Only tool required is a handle (crank) for the doors. No backing up usually. Another plus. PLEASE don't tell the door slammers.

Being on pipeline and dirt jobs as a machanic is where I got my interest in big stuff. Worked for a bridge contractor to with 3900, 4100, and 777 Manitowoc crawlers. Those good lowboy hands that could put a truck anywhere and you never adjusted their clutch were awesome to watch. Some were a huge pain in the ### about a half inch though lmao though I do understand that part as well.

Then you had the goobers who thought they were gods that were quality entertainment for sure. Probably where I would fall in place.

In the end part time trucking wasn't gonna cut it anymore, I was burnt out dealing with the headaches of me saying this is what it needs, owners saying this is what you can have to fix it and it being my ### when it didn't work as they hoped.

I'm too old and set in my ways to do anything different, all I know is buy the hundred weight, the pot load, the bushel, or by the ton. However the how it gets done still interest me

There was a thread that got shut down for bickering yesterday. The one about ‘what do listen to/watch when driving for hours on end?’ Well, opie made a comment about watching movies on his phone while driving.

Well, I’m paranoid when starting off. There has to be something I forgot. I’m always expecting the rgn to come apart at the neck at highway speeds because I forgot to check the retainer pin. Or I’m going to hit a bridge.

But when I get running down the road, with that loud turbo, the road noise, the black smoke that rolls out when I put the hammer down...man, that is addictive like drugs! I find that driving slows me to clear my mind, to meditate. Mistakes I made in the past, and ways that I can be a better version of me in the future. I like who I am, but I would like to be calmer, wiser. Calmness is a sign of strength. Mental strength is the stuff that prevents the media mind Fup. When you see negative and cowardly people, know that they have fallen victim to the media mind Fup.

    Six back quiet.

Well they have written a rule that fits all, no on says it’s the maximum just the minimum. There’s more to it than just weights, they want permits to self issue for those predetermined configurations. The idea is that you can load up I’m Maine and go to California on the same rig. States like Michigan and Wisconsin for example that have more permissive rules are allowed to keep them.

If they ever make a movie about you, they should get Sam Elliot to play your role.
