hey guys, not sure if this is the right place or an easy search but I feel like this question may be uncommon. I got a driving job right out of school at a local demolition company. Been here for 3 months. I go to work, drive to the dump numerous times a day and go home every night. That’s that. But as I think back to class I remember that I should be a part of some sort of testing consortium? Anything else I’m missing? Right now there are only 2 other guys at the company, and I’m the only guy with a CDL. So my coworkers don’t have any idea what else I need to do. So all knowing oracle, please help....
Got the job. Now what?

You’ve done all the test you need to do. Any remaining test are the responsibility of the owner.
But you’re thinking about drug test. And it’s not your problem. Unless you own the truck. -
Did you take a preemployment drug test?

What you need to start doing is practicing peeing in a bottle. Start filling them up and leaving them in the truck stop parking lot. The lab techs in training come by the truck stop and pick them up and practice testing them.
Tombstone69, Metallica88 and JoeyJunk Thank this. -

I'm assuming that you wouldn't have a problem passing a drug test. That being said, if you like your company, your boss, and would like for the company to stay in business, you could tell them about the drug testing requirements. The fines they will get if the fmcsa finds out, along with being shut, down are astronomical.
