Deep in first 5, out 4 and 5, high side top five.

At least that's how I took it

 

You don’t “have” to run to 5th before coming out do you? I usually did it around 3rd.

 

I always did 1234-345 then top side

A 15 is one full gear step reduction. Where as a 13 and 18 are half gear steps.

 

They made the “U” or “O” as an overdrive, mine was.

No you don't. Matter of fact you can take off in low and split out of deep and go right back in low and really get rolling alot quicker.
