I do remember when the 15 was the “heavy haul” transmission before the 18 was popular. At least around here it was that way. Hard to beat an 18 though.

A lot of the brownies had od against the dash, and maybe a few modified 13s, but other than that only 15s as far as I'm aware. I've never driven a 10 with one that way.PoleCrusher, Crusader66, stwik and 19 others Thank this.

I used to let the clutch out in bull low, get out and make sure every tire was rolling in the winter to avoid dragging tires. I could run around the truck and super B's before they went one full length of 82' back then.
