I drove an old USF Holland L9000 that had a straight 7. Start shifting at one seat finish at the other.

Consolidated Freight had a bunch of them. A guy I used to work with said when he worked for a ground contractor the had some Sterlings that were from Consolidated Freight that had straight 7’s. No ranges just an extra leg on the pattern. He said they were awesome for city work.

 

Then no never heard of em

Well at least he can see the progression I think @stwik meant to say, even if its not compairable.

 

I guess, but you don’t shift a truck like Ron’s progressively like you do a duplex or triplex.

They weren’t bad transmissions just weren’t particularly good either.
