Use to be nobody would hire you without two years experience on straight truck, then in town semi-truck doing P&D. Working your way up to out of town, overnight, then over the road.
Basically it was an apprenticeship program, though nothing official existed.
How start without experience?

Challenger, Schneider, Bison, Laidlaw... If you won't even put in the effort to look for companies that hire with no experience, what do you expect? All those companies I mentioned do hire people with no experience, as long as you are older than 21 and have a valid license.....
