This is my first winter here and I can deal with cold as long as I'm dressed for it. If not, all bets are off lol

WE've been plugging the block heaters in on nthe trucks recently. Man what a difference those make -

The media has learned to amplify every little weather event double in their campaign to change minds to accept [and demand] more government control. I’ve reached a point I don’t even pay attention to anything except raw NOAA NWS forecasts that are without all the drama.

They seem to think the rest of us are clueless to historical weather events and “today’s events are the worst, just trust us”

This is going to be testy.....it will test how good our door seals are , heaters and fuel syztems etc....guys will have to block radiator wind ......cutting stripz of cardboard and sliding them in between grill cover and screen........to block that wind from cooling engine down too much......ah yes, I remember when......

Mine is folded up in my side box. Even when its -10 below and up to -35 like this past Saturday, my temperature gauge was still in the 185-190 degree range in my 15 Cascadia

I just went out in front of this freightliner cascadia Im drivin....its got a screen behind the fake chrome grill......I checked this screen with hood lifted up , to see if screen has some sort of toggle system to remove screen ,or add to it ......nope.....its got those plastic pop in" "button" type fasteners.......so.......if I find myself having to go through one of these subarctic zones, I know what Ill have to do in order to keep engine temp up in the normal heat range...........so I dont lose heat........
