They do, company drivers are welcome as well :) They are an advocacy group for all drivers, no matter who you drive for.

Man, did I just pull a major rookie move today. I was planning on scooping up tomorrow's load and then going home. Got Mrs Junkie all fired up and ready to go out tomorrow night. Looked at the times on my trips, figured I was set. But, didn't plan for time zones  Big dummy. I so rarely get into the central time zone anymore, so I didn't even think about it. But the broker is cool, so I switched my dnh from Sunday to Saturday, so I can still get home and get a reset before Monday's load. Stupid rookie. Oh well. By the way, I did make it to Seymour, if anyone wants to join me for a brew.

I found out something about this organization yesterday that I wasn't aware of originally. They have bennies. Health, life, optical, dental, all of it. I am gonna do some digging. I may be switching. Deals on tires, deals on service, and much more. Including legal help for tickets, accidents, and financial services. Also legal help with setting up LLCs and getting your own authority and financing. After getting off the phone with the woman I spoke to yesterday, I feel like all the decisions I made with both Landstar and Millis were horrible. Not their fault, it's mine. Things are about to change. It's like feeling alone with strangers surrounding you, then finding a rocket launcher under your bed.

Also deals on semis, occasional deals on cars, etc. One stop shop. Sorry for going on and on, my mind is blown. Go get a membership. I'm done, I promise.

What decisions about Millis do you think were horrible?

I meant my decisions, not theirs. If I had this information at my disposal I would definitely have gone a different route with insurance choices, stuff like that.

How much did you say membership was? $30 or a year. Good deal sounds like from what you get.

So, this happened... just got to a shipper. There were two possible ways in. As I approached my first option, there was a big sign that said "industrial park" with an arrow pointing left. Cool. As soon as I'm past the point of no return, there's a sign that says "no semi traffic". Morons. You probably should have put that on the big sign pointing to the industrial park
