You got fingerprinted and your application was processed. How long did it take you to receive your TWIC Card and what year did you apply, I’m guessing they pick up the pace every other year.. Thanks in advance!
Days after application **TWIC, how long until I get it?

The TWIC is a federal funded program of the U.S. Coast Guard, managed by Homeland Security, operated by the TSA through contracted third party providers.
The initial application and issuance of the card was 7 days, the renewal took 8 months.
The only reason to get one was the DOD was no longer going to issue the CAC and switch to TWIC. Seems that has gone away as well. Now they just take DL, run a background check on the spot.
For port access, the few I do go to, the shippers are on, but outside the port control. No idea what they do at ports now.Last edited: Jan 21, 2019

From application till it arrived in the mail was 3 weeks for mine, I haven't been to the ports yet, but I use mine for ID when a customer asks for one.
