Wisconsin's new slogan faces some pushback

give me a break! do we need to start making up words because someone else used them once before?

 

Please cease and desist using the phrase,"give me a break", as it is a registered trademark of Barcode, Inc. This will be your last warning before I sic a hoard of crooked lawyers on you.

 

This comes out of Madison WI,....40 square miles surrounded by reality,...

 

Well it beats California's new slogan......
"Welcome to California" or rather.... "Bienvenido a California".....

 

Well Wisconsin's old slogan was "Your A-hmong Friends",....

 

Actually, the phrase was taken as the title of a sitcom some years ago and you have just infringed on the copyright. The suit will be filed Monday.

Oh, crap, I think Monday was used in the past, as well. Now I'm in trouble.

 

I thought it was, "Hey buddy, could you spare some change?"
