Well the aged old wisdom of Spader Freight Service was just drive it and see what develops!

 

The way I heard it there was a joint venture on the electronics. I know there was talks of a full in merger but not sure the details. I do remember people talking about Deere potentially getting in the truck engine market at one time.

That is correct, and you are 100% about the Cummins part. They wanted no part of it because the N14 was doing so well. But I thought one guy was a past JD engineer and how that all got involved. Sorry had to have a memory reset. But no worries on my part. You are correct in saying JD did not invent it. Roger Penske corp. did not either. However they seen good investment and they were right. Plus Freightliner never bought Detroit. Diamler AG did.

 

Last May or June I was running upto Oklahoma? I think. Anyways I was trying to ger into Dallas before I ran out of hours. So Im rollin 70-75 up I35, get just south of there and pull into a Loves and squeeze in next to the scale cause it was the only place I could park with about 6min left on the nanny device. I go inside, get some to eat, go to bed and 7:30ish the next morning Im woke up by a driver knocking on my door to let me know the tire shop said I could go ahead and pull around to get my tire replaced.

I told him I think he had the wrong truck cause I pulled in last night and wasnt getting any tires. He gives me a funny look and says sorry for waking me up. So I get out and start lookin sure enough I lost the right rear axle outter trailer tire at some point and the only thing left on the wheel was the sidewalls rotfl.

Could be a distant cousin or something, Wasnt around the 99mm. There are Mack in Lima that are no relation. So were was your mother that night?
