So what you are saying is this motor was originally in a Pete? Because it currently is in a W900.

 

I'm not positive on that. What year is your W900? That is the info I'm getting from CAT sis. I only have limited access to it and get so much info but a couple others here have full access to it. Maybe they can answer your question. I'll tag them for you. Good luck.

Last ecm report in 2011 shows it at 550hp/1850ft/lb and 30785hrs

 

It is a 1998

761943 is the last 6

I was working all day, just got home.

S/n 761943 is a 1998 kw w900 that came factory with a 6TS14513. Engine must have been swapped at some point.

I think in 2011 it had a dropped valve, but that was 8 years ago. Engine could have been rebuilt twice since then or just been parked. Best to inspect truck, get an ecm download.... ect.

Thanks for the info, but you are showing the 5ek at 550 back in 2011? Is that possible with it being a 13 speed?
