Actually me too I've never heard anyone say anything good about PeopleNet. :/.
This switch is probably related to that I guess. Probably needing to replace all of the units. They got a better deal from PeopleNet.
I got there late yesterday so all of the office people were already gone except for Ruth ( and a few of the dispatchers presumably but they wouldn't know).
Otherwise I would have asked about it
The Mechanics didn't know much about it except for the fact that all new trucks are getting them.
Actually I asked one of the truck mechanics (want to say Jared), he said he didn't know anything and he pointed to the guys that were working on the new trucks.

The newer peoplenet units I found to be very easy to work with when I used them
-
See how long before one of the drivers throws it out the window or punches it and breaks the screen .
Peoplenet is not nearly as user friendly as qualcomm/omni and editing on-duty time and dealing with the inbox will make you pull your hair out
So far I've used qualcomm/omnitracs,xrs,peoplenet,keeptruckin,telogis and fleetmatics. The IVG is by far the best but it has to be setup right by the company ; a simple update will throw you off completely and make you dislike it tooLast edited: Jan 26, 2019

Anybody ever have any troubles with getting the loads for home I specifically put in my request for time off that I had an appointment on the 31st and now I have a load going 400 miles from the house that delivers on the first pretty sure they're not going to let me dh 400 miles to get home but they will DH me 400 miles to pick up a load coming out of the house

my problem is that cah never gets me anything going to New York it's always PA and then she says they will reload you out of there and it's always a hassle

I think I've only been late for home time two or three times. -
I’ve been deadheaded from Chicago, Indianapolis and KC when I worked there. I lived in Southeast Missouri at the time.
