Split sleeper rule

    After working a 14 hour day I stopped for 8 in sleeper then drove 6 hours unloaded for 2 and parked is this compliant split sleeper rules confuse the heck out of me so try not to use them thanks for any feedback

    It does not sound like it.
    The split simply pauses your 14. If you ran out of hours, you must take a ten to get anything back.

    Now say you work 10, take 8 in the sleeper. Then you can finish off the 4.

    Thanks zvar, was just a hypothetical question. I've run into situations where a split would have been useful if a full 10 were not mandated
