I've had it late there in the past, but it is seldom. Sometimes Swift gets the time mixed up and sends us a day early, which is what happened to me the last time it was 'late'.

Osseo, WI at that little place.
A few flurries today and a couple icy bridges, but otherwise very nice all day.
I stopped here with 23 minutes left on my 70, and I deliver in Maple Grove, MN at 0700 tomorrow morning. 130 miles to go.
I only have 7.25 hours to work with tomorrow. After the Costco load I pick up a Post load going to Salt Lake City. I'll be lucky to get a hundred miles on that load tomorrow.
Good thing it is already late, I can pretty much set my own pace on it. It was supposed to deliver yesterday.
There is a bunch of winter weather coming in tomorrow afternoon, so I hope to be on my way south before then. -
Orland ca at the pilot.
Load was ready at 7 am at Toledo or.
Drove here for my ten. Need to do laundry too.
Delivery is set at 0730 monday in Lindsay ca.
Fuel stop is in Madera. So might stop there which makes it 80 miles to final.
Or go to the loves in Tulare ca which I believe is 35 miles.Rugerfan Thanks this. -
Have plenty of time to get load delivered -
Much better options in town for the morning coffee. And if the load is not ready by the load assignment time, I make my own time with the load - especially if I am low on hours.
Those loads have enough time on them that the pick up time is very open. Just deliver it on time.
It's the same with my current Costco load. Pick up by 0659 this morning?, and I got there at 0900. But I can deliver on time so no worries.dptrucker Thanks this. -
I cut it a bit tight today on my 70, with 0 minutes left after a 5 minute post trip.
Perfectly timed, I must say.
Mason City, IA at the Pilot. I got here at around 1230 and I doubt I'll be leaving before noon tomorrow with this storm that's coming in. -
Tulare ca at the loves.
Ended up only being just under 17 miles to final for tomorrow morning delivery.
Pretty foggy between Sacramento and Stockton on the 5
There was a semi that caught on fire at the twin city offramp. Burnt pretty much down to frame
Which in turn, cause 2 other wrecks. Both involved semi trucks.
First one I came to was in the center divider(grass)with 3 other 4wheelers. Leftane blocjed. Not sure if anyone was injured but cars were pretty well bagged up.
The second seemed to be the worse one. Was on the right shoulder. One car had rolled down the embankment and looked life the fire dept. Tore the roof off to get whoever was in the SUV. Ambulance was already gone. HOPE they survived. Right lane was blocked.
Driving too fast for how foggy it was.
After passing the burnt truck I found an offramp to park. But it was on the dirt on left side of onramp. Sat for about 15 minutes thinking if someone crashes here and they roll down the hill, they collect me too. So I left.
Kept it between 45 and 50 mph most of the foggy section
Cleared up at stockton. -
Fog can be worse than ice or any amount of snow, but so many people don't take it seriously.
They will be going 60 with less than 100 feet of visibility.dptrucker Thanks this. -
I had to come to a quick stop when the traffic stopped. If they would have been behind me still would have not ended goodMoosetek13 Thanks this. -
So we had at least 2 trucks jackknife today. One was at the I90/I94 split in WI and the other was in WY near Laramie.
The first was a mentor that had been told to sit out the storm. He decided to drive anyway.
He was not happy following a truck at 45 so he decided to pass the truck doing 50 and ended up doing a couple 360's before coming to rest.
He and his student are fine, but he is out of a job.
I learned of the first one via a QC message this morning, and the second when my TM called me this afternoon because I will be going through WY on I80 in the next couple days. He also gave me more details on the WI accident as he has seen the video. He said it was crazy, the truck spinning around like that.
