They are sure handy for a lot of things. Each of our job pickups has two 3/4" gear wrenches for culvert band bolts.Feedman, 1951 ford, PoleCrusher and 16 others Thank this.

Cool name for a dog ....1951 ford, PoleCrusher, Tug Toy and 10 others Thank this.

They sure are handy as heck. Most of the equipment on our farm is metric and we have a set that goes up to 24mm which would be equivalent to 15/16. We use the gear wrenches often and surprisingly hold up well.Feedman, 1951 ford, PoleCrusher and 19 others Thank this.

I just love when one of the newer Ford's is passing you pulling a bumper hitch trailer or a heavily loaded service body of some sort....feels like a laser trying to burn your retinas via the mirror.Feedman, 1951 ford, PoleCrusher and 15 others Thank this.

Ah hell, I offered you a lowbed to gonhaul equipment but you weren’t “interested” something about be bein’ Retired or old or something
But no some other guy waved a shiny new Murray in front of you and you go weak in the knees
Well I Hope it is a steerable triple 16 beam trailer - so you can run around and load/unload 657s all day longFeedman, 1951 ford, PoleCrusher and 18 others Thank this. -
Yeah that's about what the norm is.
After 20 mins or so of full power, that starts to narrow. More & more as duration extends.
I haven't actually done a pre and post turbo myself, only post and heat soak.
The only pre & post I've seen was on a twin turbo Cummins back in the late 80's. The post one didn't move much, that's why he put a pre turbo be in.
I know several guys who have done it on hot rods, but I don't know if I'd wanna do it on a makes my living motor, not sure what the life expectancy of that probe would be. Pre turbo, I would think it would be subjected to blast and relief cycles of each cylinder, and I would think eventually...Last edited: Jan 27, 2019
