I'm sure my wife will appreciate that! She says she is fine with me being gone for extended periods, but we have been married for 15 years as of the 9th of this month and we have worked in the same company for the last 5 years. I think she will have a more difficult time than she says, but she is being 100% supportive of this decision. I am so blessed!:love4:

BTW, do you know is there a place here in Davenport where I could leave the truck? I live on a very narrow street, and while I could get a bobtail into my driveway(and out), no chance with a trailer attached. I know there is a Flying J within 10 mins drive, but will the company allow you to leave the truck?

Hey 1Bad enjoy your Beer Uhhhhhhh I mean home time lol.

FozzyBear You shouldn't have a problem leaving both Tractor and Trailer at the Flying Hook, if the J lets you leave Trucks there overnight just check with them before you leave it there for a few.

The hardest part is the school and then being out with a trainer, in School you are realllllllly busy and don't have all that much time to be on the Phone and when your with a trainer you get even less to time to call Family.

Have your wife Join the Forum it really is a good support group for the family LOL:yes2557:

One of the nice things about the years I've spent in IT, I have all this technology at my disposal AND know how to set it up and use it. My wife and I both have laptops with built in cameras and with a AIM account you can do video chat. I already learned the lesson that my phone gets shut off when I am doing something that requires my attention. I don't even answer it when I'm driving the car. If it's important they can leave me a vm. I'll se if I can get her on here, but she is a bit resistant at times to "new" tech stuff. She likes to say she is "computer stupid" but it is not true. I'll probably start my own thread when I get to school. It may be easier to get her involved at first that way.

Well 1bad finally got of the pc so I can use it! LOL He's gone now to get his ID moved to GA. So glad to have him home. The girls and the dogs got so excited last night when he came home! It is so nice waking up w/ him beside me again. However, I don't miss getting hit in the face w/ his arm EVERY time he rolls over.............LOL Needless to say I'm exhausted today. He wanted to lay in bed telling me all his adventures last night. Boy is his internal clock on a rollar coaster!

Fozzy just let us know when you start your thread and we will help your wife w/ anything she needs!

Ok off to get his laundry caught back up and set up his truck for him. I'll check back in in a little while.

Hold it between the yellow lines boys!!!!!!!!!!

JJ put a list of Trainers that he personally knows on page 99 or 100, You can request a trainer!

Great idea with the Tax Check, because it is really tight money wise when you are in School and then training.
