5 of us. Yeah we're running two trucks. One we use for pre trip practice and the other for backing. I'm so glad it's back to training tomorrow, so bored at the hotel. Just relaxed and studied pre trip. Yeah I watched YouTube videos on backing and I see what you mean, didn't learn much.

Go to marine shop, they deal with algae all the time in fuel.Steelersjunkie Thanks this.

Right on, thanks. I stumbled on a thread here a while back and can't find it again. Someone in that thread mentioned a couple products for that by name.

Killeem. Dude here says oreilly’s can order it.
Algae in the tanks, best way to get rid of it quick?Steelersjunkie Thanks this. -
Thanks! I don't suspect that I currently have an issue. No moisture problems, and the Howes I use leeches water out of my fuel so it's incredibly difficult for algae to grow. However, the treated winterized fuel is a biodiesel blend, and that stuff is notorious for creating a breeding ground. I'm just looking to do some preventative measures.

Im telling you by watching Youtube videos right now you are going to make things harder on yourself. At school you are being taught the minimal skills to pass the CDL exam thats it. And how Jamie and the rest of the instructors teach it you will be ready to pass the test. There are lil tricks and markers to watch for while doing the moves at school. Do what Jamie tells you and you will be fine. Then when you come out on a trainers truck the real backing begins. The real world backing you will do on your trainers truck is alot different than your being taught. Again you're being taught to pass a test right now, thats it. Nothing annoys me more than a student getting on my truck telling me how hes watched all the videos on backing etc. A blank mind is easier to mold than a mind full of garbage and bad habits.Steelersjunkie and BullDozer-( Thank this.

@BullDozer-( Do study this one though. I passed my pre trip specifically because of this video

Can’t thank you enough for the call this morning. I’m still in Eau Claire, making it a reset. My head is in a better place since I got some much needed sleep. Still gonna take you up on your offer. I think that would be a nice couple of days off.
