2 cases for this one partner. Well 1 now, tarps are spread just gotta figure how to tie down the back so it won't shred it and then get the rest of it.

Throw a couple of 2 in straps over the crap on the end to help "tent" the tarp

With your wide hood it may be the way to go with thicker tubes. The area you have on the wide hood should compensate for the thicker tubes. Plus with the rubber grommet sealed ends let's it flex more. (Heat expansion) do you have cross bars ( x bracing)on radiator ? Maybe they are loose and letting rad flex stressing the cac.

Oh I got felt over it, but I still don't want to be pulling down too hard on those sharp edges, and still not have it ballooning out.

Throw one or two straps as MJM mentioned... Make them tight enough to not fall off. It will help tent the tarp.

Other than that... make it as tight as you can, even if you need to go up to the second row of d rings and add a few more bungees...

As long as you padded it decently you should be fine-ish. We’ve all padded #### to realize “haha we’ll screw me and my tarps” a few hundred miles later...

The corner in the back up top is that exact spot id worry about.

If you don’t feel like throwing the straps now... which I get...

You’re left to making those bungees body weight tight... it’s gonna slap with the wind ever so much... such is life. But pull the fingers under the tongue as tight as you can and just pray?

Sorry fella. Keep your case of beer on this one...
