Has anyone ever pulled one of these dedicated jobs for Landstar? I’m thinking hard about it, any info would be helpful before I give up my trailer. Do you or did you like it? Is the money good and steady? They said it would be a lot of night driving so the traffic and parking in truck stops should be better. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Are you going to be working with / for landstar or CFL ?? I hauled dedicated for CFL as contract driver from Abq to Lubbock , wasn't bad for me. I don't know anything about the landstar gig tho.

for me I always thought that the pay was too cheap but I didn't like the 10 cent a mile for tolls ...... Chicago to philly indiana toll road cost around 42.00 now but they pay you 15.00 ohio is 48.00 and you get 24.00 Pennsylvania is around 250.00 and they pay for 32.00 .... however I am in Ohio so surrounded by tolls going east or strait west. and they loads pay better than .. if you're in the south .... it pays a little bit better down there compared to those rates and all your miles are paid and your at least starting out without tolls ...... my bright idea was to get a power only load out and call the agent and see if they could finish me up in a terminal close to home ...... I don't like the forced dispatch ..... seems like they have a need for them in the south east ... Valdosta ect...... let's us know if you take one and how it works out
