Done the 5 gallon thing for years, plastic liner , seat, do the job, wrap it up, throwaway. Simple , quick, convient, and saves looking for place to go.

 

About the only thing I would add to the bucket toilet is a separate sealed container to drop a couple days duties in awe you don't get a convenient place to dump it .

 

Firehouse subs sells the 5 gal bucket their pickles come in for $2, with the lid that seals tight.

 

$75 vs $3 ? I'll take the cheaper route.

 

I'm not a very social pooper

 

recommendation: put the noodle on first, then put the bag(s) in. that way your noodle always stays clean

 

If there's time, i envisioned something that might be a viable alternative.

i'm mostly putting this up here as a reminder to myself; i'm very busy and i may not be able to describe/illustrate it soon, but this is a reminder.
