I know this truck as Reserve 1, that was it's designation when I got hired. Biggest V-8 they could get. It would light up the tires pulling out of the station if you got on it hard enough. It was retired in 1996 and is a parade, wedding, funeral, etc. truck owned by the firefighters union.

Somebody was lucky enough to find a 1969 (year of the truck), Kansas truck tag, with our Local # on it (IAFF Local 179).

 

Well, winter storm Jayden came though Mississippi late last night. They closed schools locally. I was able to make my stops and get back in without chaining. Here is some of the aftermath, WE.WILL.REBUILD.

Yuck!! as my kinfolk use to say, she’s pretty twice..... pretty ugly, and pretty apt to stay that way.

 

You may think that I am joking, but one day, in both the US and Canada, they’re going to ban attractive women because a woman that’s attractive to Men is offensive to the millions upon millions who are not.
They are already saying that it is discriminatory if a guy will not date a transgendered woman. To say that things are about to get ugly is an understatement.
