Where is everyone #5

Im takin a shower break up here in lubbock the rollin back south to Sweetwater for a 7AM pick up of more sheetrock. Straight load into Dallas.

I ran 5 loads from Wed to today(Tues end of pay period). Haven't added figured the miles, but I spent $932 on fuel. The fuel leak cost us probably $100 extra if I had to guess. I'll know net to the truck Thurs. Should be right at 4k.

Im gonna step out and go interstate starting next week I think. Should be able to get that weekly net up a bit more.

 

Welp, @Humblepie had the honor of running with me this morning. But I have to complain bout one thing he did.....made an old fart look bad when we were unloading. He was empty and burnin out the gate a good 20 min ahead of me ! ...oh if I could turn the clock back 15 to 20 yrs.

 

Stopped at the Pilot south of Circleville, noticed Loves has a IHOP now. Automatically thought of @stwik and Blueberry flapjacks lol..... could this be a new “Love’s Connection”?

 

On a related note...

Know an older gentleman with an 05 387 Pete. Cat engine I believe, and its a 4 axle truck. Not exactly what Im looking for, but he tossed me a # of $25k. Im gonna call him tomorrow and see if I can check it out this weekend. His son was running it for 6ish yrs then fell in love and moved way up north somewhere with his chick.

One of my mechanics says "they're an electrical nightmare". I don't know #### about them. Just trying to plan 30-90 days ahead after I see how running for this co pans out and if I want to lease a truck of my own to them.

 

The IHOP we have here in zanesville kinda turned me off to eating at them.......NASTY!

As you know, keep in mind a heavyhaul truck with 4 or 5 hundred thousand miles on it is like over a million on a freight haulin truck.
