I'm going to orientation with PGT. You don't see them advertising much and there's very little intel on these boards on them. However they are rated in the top ten flatbed carriers in the country. So, no information is good.
-
Just remember that PGT does a lot of steel and thats not moving good right now.
-
Pat was supposed to park a bunch of his company trucks and not hire o/o's or company drivers.
Pullingtrucker's right PGT is just a steel hauling company, mainly AK steel. They don't deal with alot of small steel places. I've got some friends who are still on with them out of cleveland and they are lucky to get 2 loads a week!
Jones Motor is a smaller company but I don't know how busy they are? -
Good luck... seems like you are a job hopper from most of your posts on here.

in the past 5 years i have had 4 different jobs only 2 of them have been drivein jobs.....one was drivein a bus and the other was a welder.......was a welder for 2 years and drove for one company for about 8 months and they quit movein me and i was losein everything i owned wich isnt much. so i come off the road to salvage it,and drove a school bus for 9 months and they cut our hours and so i thought i would go back out on the road.....just didnt go into the right divison reefer aint for me....so maybe i am a job hopper...maybe i am not. if its the lords will for me to have another otr job then i will have one. i made this post to find out some good flatbed companies....o yea i need to mention that i have only been out of high school working for a living for 4 years in may of this year.

Hey Devil Dog, get used to driving between east chicago and baltimore with stops at every city in between, the one good thing is you go to the same places all the time so after a couple weeks no excuse for the poor land nav
-
PGT recently opened an office in Owensboro and haul steel out of AK Steel in Rockport , IN . Rockport stays pretty busy .
TNspeedy Thanks this. -
