Not having close dealer support, especially as much use as your trailer gets, would definitely be a determining factor. Seems like you can't go wrong with a TK.
Which manufacturer of RGN/Lowboy do you like best and why?

I'd have to say XL is my choice. 48' XL with aluminum outriggers is a pretty good all around trailer to me.

How are Globe Trailers?
-
Their great at basketball but I don’t believe those gentlemen could build a trailer !!
I’m sorry I just really couldn’t help myself !!Heavy Hammer and Razororange Thank this. -
The Globes are heavy, whether that translates into stronger is another thing. I was impressed by some of the features of their trailers.
Talked to some drivers that drag them & they all said they were happy with them. That being said, if you talk to the guy that married the town floozie, he’ll say he’s happy with her too. Until she becomes his cheating floozie wife anyway, then she’ll be the biggest mistake of their life.kylefitzy, Hollywood23 and Oxbow Thank this. -
Has anyone pulled a Kaylny Siebert 55 ton 3+1 rgn? if so how does it hold up compared to Fontaine,Xl,Tabert,Trail King,etc..

Eager Beavers are popular around here amongst contractors. Good quality for the money, good factory support when I've needed it (not often), and urable.
I think they're fairly heavy for their rating. My 50-ton weighs about 20,000 lbs empty with a 24 ft. deck and lift axle. If I had a do-over, I'd get a 25 ft. deck and chain storage between the main beams.
I don't like their "Roto-rings", which are d-rings that swivel. The d-rings are in the middle of the beam web, and they don't extend far enough above the top of the trailer. As a result, the chains get pinched between the d-ring and the beam flange. And you can't hook a sling hook directly to the d-ring.
