Before the kids were born, the wife and I talked real seriously about moving to eastern Oklahoma.

 

You'd be in worse shape than me. I highly doubt that you have such a handsome nasal protuberance as I do. It's very aerodynamic.

Go lay on the beach for a month afterwards, they'll thaw out and grow back.
Heck, some of the guys here can verify cause I posted a pic of it. Last time I was up there I got so used to the temps, on the last trip outbound I put on my board shorts, grabbed a beach towel, coffee, and a cigar. I laid out there on the sugary white sandy beach and smoked that cigar and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The last 1/4 cup of coffee froze solid. Still got all my appendages...

Freight has really gotten regional over the last several years. There is still a lot that moves coast to coast, but more of it is regional. From a strictly business standpoint I find it better to stay in a region(ish) and build contacts. I think you can succeed in any region, as long as you make contacts. It’s not what you know, rather who you know.

I'd hate to be accused of bullying.
I don't hate actually being a bully, just don't appreciate the accusations.
It ruins my carefully sculpted PR efforts of being magnumamoose.
