That's the best W990 paint job yet. That actually looks like a decent truck. Again, not one I would buy, but gladly and proudly drive.

 

So few shops like.it when the guy paying the bill has an opinion.

My favorite response is... I'v been doing this for x years.

I always ask how many times they've paid +/- 5 grand for a set of tires and wait patiently for the meek responses

 

If they'd do something about those air intakes and headlights it wouldn't be to hateful. And I agree that paint looks good.

 

Parked it for the night at the Ports To Plains in Lamar, CO.

It's not too bad here at 19 degrees. At least there's no wind. Temps about the same as it was when I left Miles City today.

 

Got my whip all shined up at the Blue Beacon in Jerome, ID. Even washed the trailer!

 

One fine looking engine Mr. Ford. The statement "They dont build them like this anymore" Is ever so fitting. Nothing like sitting in the open jump seat facing backwards next to a screaming mad detroit. Watching body flex and roll as you have no idea were your going trusting you A----Hole buddy that has his big GD boot smashed down on the pedal.

 

How are the brakes setup on those? All 3 axles or just the front and middle? Park brakes internal as well?

First thing I'd do is verify zero service brake pressure when not using the brakes, then I'd check the brake adjustments. If the park brakes are internal I'd see that the park brake release pressure is in spec too.

I feel y'all on those frigid temps. We're hurtin down south here too
